FUN ROVER STORAGE

If you’re planning on buying a Land Rover you’ve probably already done plenty of research into the car. You’ve probably even found an exact make and model that you feel will best suit your needs. Now, this is a huge investment, so you should take your time about things and make sure you’re getting the best vehicle to suit your wants and needs all round. This can include whether or not you want a panoramic roof or not, whether it’s worth choosing an option with LED headlights, if you’re interested in extras like a < ahref="https://www.businessinsider.com/why-you-need-a-heated-steering-wheel-2016-2?r=US&IR=T">heated steering wheel, and what colour exteriors and interiors you’d prefer. But one option that people often end up struggling to settle on is whether to buy a brand new Land Rover, or whether to buy a used Land Rover. At the end of the day, there’s no right or wrong answer to this question. Instead, it’ll largely fall down to personal requirements and preferences. Let’s have a look at some of the pros and cons of each option to help you to come to a decision!

Buying a New Land Rover

Of course, new cars are always more desirable than used cars. There’s something great in having been a vehicle’s only owner. You know it will arrive in mint condition. There won’t be any marks to the exterior or the interior of the car. You can also benefit from customising the vehicle to the exact spec you want. You can have the colour, the make, the model and all the add ons you’d personally like with no compromises. You also know that it will have extremely low mileage, so it will be of a lot of value. However, brand new cars come with extremely high price tags. Plus, the vehicle loses a whole lot of value the first time you drive it, as it shifts from “new” to “used” immediately.

Buying a Used Land Rover

With a used Land Rover, you may have to compromise a little. It’s highly unlikely that the specific model is out there for sale in the right colour and with all your wanted add ons. However, sometimes you can get pretty close. The benefit of a used Land Rover is that it will be a whole lot cheaper. You can also ensure that it is good quality and in good condition by buying from a reputable dealer like Calder Motor Company. Just make sure to view and test drive any used vehicle before putting any money down on it!

Weighing Up Your Options

As you can see, there really are a number of pros and cons that come with each option you have. As we’ve highlighted above. This isn’t a decision you should take lightly and you should take your time to mull it over. This will give you the opportunity to come to a conclusion that leaves you truly happy with your final purchase.

Hopefully, the above advice has helped you somewhat in your decision making process and has brought you one step closer to securing the Land Rover you’ve been dreaming of!
